Very thorough exam. Friendly associates with great customer service. The Best! 😍
Very professional and friendly! Very pleased with staff and Dr May.
Being my first eye appointment, I was not quite sure what to expect. Registration was a breeze and the environment of the office was great. My wait time was minimal, and everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. Sharon is brilliant and Emma was amazing! They made my appointment very comfortable and informative. Every step of the exam was explained to me in detail. Side note... when they offer you sunglasses to leave, TAKE THEM! I didn't, and probably looked like a clumsy Vampire. Hands held up to the sky, cursing at the sun, I stumbled to my vehicle and quickly donned my "shades", ... All was good A Sincere thanks to Sharon and the entire staff at Richens Eye Center.
they know a lot about your eyes and they can help you 100%
Showed up for my 8:00 appointment with Dr. Jones only to find out I wasn't even in the system. Made the appointment on the 19th. Guess I'll go back to my other ophthalmologist.
I had eyelid surgery on Valentine's day in 2019 with Dr. Tarbot Everything went well, however, she was 1 1/2 hours late for my surgery. (She said she was on a phone call, but never informed the staff at the hospital). Then for my follow up appointment, she was 40 minutes late, with no explanation given. So my husband and I walked out of her office. The staff did not keep us informed that she was running late. It was just terribly rude of her and the staff. Had the impression only her time was valuable. It was a wasted trip to St. George to Mesquite!
Unfortunately this was the worst experience I’ve ever had getting glasses and this isn’t my first rodeo. First I want to say the staff and doc were pleasant. My complaint is the process and lack of any samples of any of the products for coatings and such. I get asked questions about the coatings for my lenses and the verbal descriptions don’t cut it when you have to create an image in your minds eye because there is absolutely no visual references to the products. What can go wrong there, right??? I’ve had about 8 different glasses purchases in the last 15 years and have never, ever, not once, not seen displays or sample lenses readily available to make that upsale!! This is a business selling products and services? I call before just showing up to make an appointment to find out what we need to do and I’m told to just come in so I say we’ll see you tomorrow at 10ish, they say ok. We arrive and the place is very busy and no way prepared to give us information or have the time to do so. Two gals at the counter, one appears to be management and the other appears to be in training. The one in training wasn’t able to do much and the management gal is quite busy and after about 20 minutes of us waiting for her to get off the phone to give information on pricing and what we want they then decide we are worthy of the appointment I originally tried to schedule. We come back a week later for said appointment and both gals still there, our notes from previous visit were not readily findable so we have to refresh them about our visit a week ago. Paperwork gets found, eye exam happens without any issues and that was the only part of our visit that was normal to us. Then we go through the coatings questions again and we are still being asked to pick expensive coatings with no visual reference or example. This really hindered my husband being able to know what he was buying and I ended up having to tell him to just trust me and get what I suggested. These were his pair and there should have been something there. I’ve never walked into an eyeglass place and not had anything, a poster, coated lenses samples, Crizal info, etc... available. Fast forward to pick up and husband is there getting both pairs of glasses and they hand them to him and send him on his way. They were paid for so I guess our service ended on our previous appointment??? He gets out to car and tries them on and goes back in to say they need adjustments. He was told he’s tall (5’11”) and this was a problem adjusting the glasses???? My last pair of glasses was at Costco and I did not have these issues and hubs were at Kaiser and these issues didn’t come up there. You can do much better.
