I was referred here because my primary eye dr seen fluid behind my eyes and was concerned. I made the appointment and right away I was critizized about my weight without even asking me if I had been working on it she just jumped on me about diet and excersise and meal plans... I've been working on my weight for a year and I've made significant progress and I have thyroid issues. I will not be going back to this dr she was not willing to listen to anything I had to say and continued to criticize my weight which was very disheartening since I've been focusing on it already myself. A Dr. should listen instead of judge and we could of probably gotten somewhere.

Warning billing nightmare and no desire to help. We called in to schedule an appointment and asked about insurance coverage. Gave Richens our info and came in two weeks later. All was good until we received our bill and was told they didn't take our insurance. Their billing lady was rude and completely unhelpful. The funny part is really have double coverage with two different vision plans. Needless to say we are now in collections and they are doing more to help Bill the insurance than Richens did. Stay away as they don't care about you

Absolutely the worst experience! Waited 2 weeks for test contacts and ended up paying over $236 for a simple eye exam. They asked for my insurance before I made the appointment and then my insurance didn't pay anything? It was a simple annual eye exam 🙁

Poor commcation. One department dose not talk to another. It took about a month to get a refund. I did tell them about the issue. I did like the doctor thats why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Richens eye center was overall an amazing experience for me. The staff were so friendly and very personable! I Ioved that we could even joke with each other. Dr Richens was so professional and kind! I always felt taken care of by her! Kind and generous are just a few words to describe her. I felt that anytime I had a question or concern, someone was always available to help me. From consult, to pre surgery, to surgery, and after surgery care....I have felt confident with all who have worked with me! I highly recommend them to anyone!

Great Staff very friendly and Dr Richens was kind and professional! Highly recommended.

Doctor Ritchens is a very good eye doctor. We meet with her every 5 weeks. She is always up to date on the newest procedures​ and is willing to take the the time to explain what she is doing. Have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see her. She is truly a miracle worker. Thanks again doctor for all you do.

Yesterday, I had a routine eye exam with the Richens Eye Center, my first experience with them. I was very impressed with the treatment that I received both from the technicians and the doctor. I also felt that it was the most thorough eye exam that I had ever had. Although I forgot to take my most recent prescription eyeglasses with me. I was told that if I would bring them in at another time that they would be happy to compare them to the exam results to see if I needed a new pair of glasses. I returned today with my glasses and the technician gladly made the comparison for me (even though she was just starting her lunch break). How gracious and kind of her to help me. She then broke the good news to me: I didn't need a new pair of glasses! I gladly give the Richens Eye Center 5 stars for their excellent eye care and wonderful customer service.
